Effective June 25, 2026 · Blem, Inc. — what third-party AI we use and how your data is handled.
Blem uses third-party AI to power some features. We disclose exactly which providers, what each does, and what data is sent.
Anthropic — Claude (primary)
We use Claude (Opus 4.8) as our primary AI for:
- AI Coach Diary — reads the messages and conversation screenshots you choose to upload, and suggests what to send next.
- Social-life assistant (“the brain”) — uses your in-app data (contacts, circles, saved spots) to suggest who to reach out to and what to plan. It proposes actions; nothing is done without your confirmation.
- Reel safety moderation — reviews sampled frames of a reel before it can go live, to keep objectionable content out.
- Wingman text drafting & coaching — drafts replies and follow-ups from the context you provide.
Google — Gemini
- AI image generation — profile/avatar photos, background & pose swaps, and promotional event ad images, generated from the photos and prompts you provide.
How your data is handled
- Content you submit to an AI feature (text, screenshots, photos, sampled video frames) is sent to that provider only to deliver that feature.
- This content is not used to train the providers' models.
- AI outputs are kept tied to your account and are removed when you delete your account (Settings → Delete account).
- AI suggestions can be imperfect — you stay in control and confirm before anything acts on your data.
